I have an Asus V9180 AGP card 64MB and cant find any Vista beta drivers... so if anyone knows of any that would be a great help...
...otherwise does anyone have any suggestions for an AGP card that has Vista drivers available..nothing to flash as Im not into gaming but do want to run Aero Glass.. say around £50UKP?
thanks!

Grapics cards suggestions
For the least outlay and best performance try the ATI Radeon 9550 (I'm using it..no problems). Added advantage it's the highest you can go before needing auxiliary power connectors.

Peter,
Well, I took your advice and went out this morning and bought a PowerColor 9550 256MB with ATI Radeon 9550 chipset... and am pleased to say it works a treat! I picked up the Vista Beta drivers from ATI's website which installed with the Catalyst Control Center. For some reason the first reboot ran like a dog but after settling down and adjusting the graphics settings its now running nice and smoothly. Oh and my card does have the fan on it! ;-)
I'm quite impressed with Vistas performance so far considering my PC spec isnt exactly blistering, see below, Once I re-ran the performance check the Aero scheme option was available... the performance rating comes in at a 2 even though all bar one items are a 3! strange! (756MB RAM = 2??)
Thanks again anyway!

That's great. I'm wondering why my video card which is the same model came without a fan (it was in the sealed manufacturer's box), not that it seems to get that hot anyway as I'm not much into games. Did you have to connect it to the power supply separately?
By the way, I was born in Sunderland...just across those hills!! ;-)

Hi Peter,
Im wondering if we have the card and not just cards with similar chipsets? Mine is a PowerColor 9550.
Sunderland eh! Oddly enough my family came from there in the early 1900's! Although I'd rather mine had opted for Toronto than Manchester ;-)

Re: the card...who knows...as long as it works. I've noticed several like mine with a larger non ventilated cooling area, and the type with fans...strange. Regarding Manchester vs. Toronto, I know what you mean. Before coming here with my job (retired now) I lived in London anyway.
